Important Regarding Package Prices
Unless indicated otherwise, content materials (ie. stock images and/or stock video) are not included in any of the above packages – and are billed as an additional cost [refer to "Service Breakdown & Add On" list below]. “Content material” (required in order for video editing to begin) is based on the conceptual story board presented to and approved by Client.
Service Breakdown & Add On’s
- Photo Search $30.00/per hourPHOTO SEARCH - Locating and identifying thematically appropriate photos that will be the visual focus in the video book trailer.
- Additional Video Editing – $75.00/per hourVIDEO EDITING - The process time where a professional video editor assembles the sequence of the shots (both footage and composite art) creating the actual trailer.
- Basic Photo Compositing (basic) – $45.00/per hourBASIC PHOTO COMPOSITING - Standard digital manipulation for creating photo scenes. Including: basic titling, basic keyframing (simple movement/a.k.a. Ken Burns Effect).
- Premier Photo Compositing+ – $60.00/per hourPREMIER PHOTO COMPOSITING - Master level digital manipulation for creating photo-realistic scenes. Work includes: animation effects (Photoshop® scene extraction and layering), complex key-framing.
- Production Services – $65.00/per hourPRODUCTION SERVICES - Generally includes: full organization and project management, coordination & scheduling of talent and professional team members.
- Stock Photo Images – $12.00 (per image)STOCK PHOTO IMAGES - Pre-existing general themed pictures and images are licensed (loaned out) for individual project use to stock houses. We look for the highest possible resolution available - which is typically on the higher end of the cost scale. However, stock houses are extremely competitive with each other.
- Stock Footage – $30.00 (per clip)STOCK FOOTAGE - Like pictures, pre-existing video footage is licensed (loaned out) for individual project use. Again, we try to present all our work in high definition (1080 or 720p) - which is typically on the higher end of the cost scale. However again, stock houses are extremely competitive with each other.
- Royalty Free Music – $30.00 (per track)ROYALTY FREE MUSIC - Music is a vital component to an effective trailer. However, considering well known commercial/artist music is cost prohibitive for most book trailer projects, Royalty free is an affordable and common way to proving the right mood and motivation for the clip. Sometimes, this might require combing two or more tracks to form a more custom-like sound composite. When the music elements are skillfully selected and manipulated, the audio music can appear as if it was customized specifically for the trailer.
- Professional Voice-Over/Narration – $200.00 (per project)VOICE-OVER/NARRATION - There is a good sized talent pool of very qualifies voice professionals available, specializing in a wide range of styles. Our producers are experienced in selecting and directing seasoned voice-overs to achieve the right tone and pace that fits perfectly with the written script. Typically we send over 2 or 3 demos of available contenders where you and your producer make the ultimate selection of the voice-over.
- Conceptual Storyboard/Treatment $175.00 (per project)CONCEPTUAL STORYBOARD/TREATMENT - After familiarization of the book's tone and feel, not to forget getting a good grasp of the feature characters who are essential to the story, a rough story board (ranging sometimes from a brief verbal outline to a still frame representation of the entire idea) is constructed and presented back to the book's writer. After discussion and/or adjustments to the treatment, the photo/images are selected for what will be the video.
- Recording Studio Rates – $85.00/per hour (no engineer incld)
